This award, established in 2023, supports a Queensland Conservatorium classical voice student or recent alumni by offering the opportunity to travel to Europe to learn and absorb languages and seek out international vocal tuition of the highest standard.

In this fiery program, Czech composer Josef Suk’s Elegy draws upon the richness of Bohemian legends; compatriot Smetana’s passionate Trio explores the full gamut emotions following tragedy. Exiled Ukrainian master Valentin Silvestrov explores a poignant yearning for a time and music that may never have been, in his Fugitive Visions of Mozart.
